Cynthia Rubino

Director of Giving

Cynthia was recently voted by the Board into the Director of Giving role.  Previously she co-charied the Newspaper Day event, in partnership with Yasmine Da Silva, which resulted in multiple record year profits.  Over Cynthia Rubino’s tenure in the Agency world, she has been unprecedentedly recognized by the Ad Club as Newspaper Buyer of the Year in 2009, 2010,  and 2011. In addition, she was hand-selected to be a member of the Canadian Buyers’ Advisory Committee and currently sites on various Ad Club sub-committees as a trusted advisor.

In 2018, Cynthia helped pioneer the Ad Club’s “Mindful Mornings” franchise, which features talks and expertise from professionals that focus on Mental Health, Resiliency in the Workplace and the Science of Happiness, to name a few.  In a addition, she spearheaded the first ever Ad Club video, which will be showcased at all future events and on partner websites.  Driving visibility of the Ad Club and its various goodwill efforts is of the highest priority for Cynthia, which is why she helped create #AdClubGives and why she continues to leverage her deep business sense and industry reputation to drive the organization forward.
