Well, another Ski Day came to an end in late February this year with the absolutely stunning new Georgian Peaks private ski club in Collingwood as the perfect backdrop. The 23rd annual ski day was attended by a diverse group of more attendees than any year prior and they were delighted by the a plethora of activities, prizes, and delights from our sponsors Kargo, Hotspex, DoubleVerify, Escarpment Magazine, Locala, GumGum, Mobi Plus Ltd, Primont Homes, and Branded Cities, along with the unforgettable afterparty hosted by Clue Digital, headlined by a local favourite band, What’s What!
The Ad Club Ski Day is a unique and wonderful social event to experience as it offers an unparalleled experience, in a remote setting just 2 hours north of Toronto, where attendees prioritize networking and getting to know eachother on a personal level. The relationships are everlasting and are the foundation of trust amongst senior and new industry professionals that last decades. It’s a special opportunity to deprioritize shop talk and emphasize humanity over all else. The Toronto advertising industry looks very different than it did 23 years ago, but Ski Day provides the perfect lens back to a time where things moved a little slower and where genuine relationships were built.
If you haven’t been before, we highly recommend attending, you won’t regret it. It’s always around the last Friday in February so mark your calendars, the snow conditions are great but that’s unlikely to be your favourite memory!

Drop in from 1-4 for Ice Skating at the Bentway, warm up with some hot chocolate and a snack!
Skate rentals, helmets available upon request as well as a skate instructor on hand for any tips and tricks – free of charge.
*For safety reasons, there will be a limit of skaters allowed on the ice at once, but the ice is available from 1pm-4pm. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but please take this safety restriction into consideration.Proceeds after event costs go to NABS (National Advertising Benevolent Society) as well as scholarships for students entering the industry.
