I’m really happy to announce that Rodger Eyre has joined the AdClub board of directors as our new Creative Director. Rodger has worked at ACLC, Juniper Park\TBWA and Zulu Alpha Kilo and has worked on brands such as Gatorade, Nissan, Visa, Tim Horton’ and Apple. He is eager to bring a new creative direction to the AdClub across our marketing efforts and event design. In his introduction to the board Rodger mentioned some of the reasons he was eager to join the AdClub, “I really love the focus of giving back to the people in our industry. Especially when it comes to helping out students and others that are just starting out in their careers. I was very fortunate to have a few key people help me out when I was a student and they continued to offer great advice during my internship when I first got into the business. I never forgot how much this meant to me and how valuable it was to my career. I’m at a point in my career where I can try to return the favour and believe that becoming part of the AdClub would be a great opportunity to do so in a meaningful way. Hopefully that makes sense to you all. “
I would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and sponsored our Golf Day and Summer Party events. It’s been three years since we’ve held these events (thanks COVID) and it was so wonderful to see the industry eager to come back out for our live events. For all of those who couldn’t get tickets to Golf Day we promise to go back to our larger format next year where we will be able to host nearly 300 golfers! Most of all thank you for your support as it allows us to continue our support of NABS and student scholarships to help the next generation of marketing students.
Hope everyone has a great fall and hopefully I’ll see you at Out of Home Day!
